Inaugural arrival of German line in Puerto Chiapas

Puerto Chiapas expands its horizons to new potential markets, the proof is that on March 10 this year, arrived for the first time at 6:36 am the German line Phoenix Reisen Cruises, a travel agency that also operates a fleet of ships cruise.

Phoenix Reisen Cruises made its inaugural arrival in Puerto Chiapas with Artania cruise wich has a length of 231 meters, the same that in April 2011 the company is flagged, that previously sailed as MV Artemis for P&O Cruises. Since 2011 it is named "Artania" and is the largest ship of Phoenix Cruises. Mario Uvences Rojas, Secretary of State Tourism, and staff Tapachula Municipal Hall and Harbor Master.

The German cruiser had a stay of 12 hours in Puerto Chiapas allowing to 740 passengers to visit new destinations such as the Mangrove tour in Acapetahua, meet Talquián and climb the Pico del Loro, in addition to those already known. Artania has capacity for 1,200 passengers on board of which arrived in Chiapas coasts 1,004 passengers and 526 crew from the port of Acapulco where he had a stay of two days allowing embark 760 passengers.
